On Thursday, James class had their Mother's Day Tea. The mom's went to the class and were served by their child lemonade and cookies. The kids sang cute little songs and recited a poem. I tried not to cry as the kids sang "You are my sunshine." The kids made a hand print mosaic for the garden and a couple cute cards. Here is the place mat James made with his fingerprints.
James behaved himself so wonderfully the last two weeks. The last time we went grocery shopping, as I popped open the trunk to load the groceries, he said, "Mom, I'll do it. You just get Sarah into the car and I will load the groceries for you." And he did. Pretty nice for being only 6. Of course, like they say - All good things must come to an end. His angelic behavior the last couple weeks came to a screeching halt tonight when he was asked to clean his room. He wore himself out crying in his room and is now asleep in the middle of a mountain of laundry on the floor. Happy Mother's Day to all those Mother's out there! :)
