Happy Mother's Day

On Thursday, James class had their Mother's Day Tea. The mom's went to the class and were served by their child lemonade and cookies. The kids sang cute little songs and recited a poem. I tried not to cry as the kids sang "You are my sunshine." The kids made a hand print mosaic for the garden and a couple cute cards. Here is the place mat James made with his fingerprints.James behaved himself so wonderfully the last two weeks. The last time we went grocery shopping, as I popped open the trunk to load the groceries, he said, "Mom, I'll do it. You just get Sarah into the car and I will load the groceries for you." And he did. Pretty nice for being only 6. Of course, like they say - All good things must come to an end. His angelic behavior the last couple weeks came to a screeching halt tonight when he was asked to clean his room. He wore himself out crying in his room and is now asleep in the middle of a mountain of laundry on the floor. Happy Mother's Day to all those Mother's out there! :)
